Agricultural economics seminar Dec. 3
Michael Dicks, director of Veterinary Economics Division at the American Veterinary Medical Association, will give the seminar "Veterinary Economics: Current Situation and Future Outlook" at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, in 342 Waters Hall.
Dicks earned his bachelor's degrees in biochemistry and animal science from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo in 1975. While working on a waste to energy project in Tunisia, he earned his master's degree in agricultural economics from the University of Missouri in 1982. He also received his doctorate degree in agricultural economics, specializing in natural resource policy, from the University of Missouri in 1985.
