Political science professor attends United Nations Expert Group Meeting in Ethiopia

Emizet Kisangani, professor of political science, was invited by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa to attend a two-day workshop on his co-authored report "Conflict in the Great Lakes Region and Its Impact on Development."
The workshop, called an Expert Group Meeting, brought together prominent government officials and scholars from across the continent to discuss the co-authored report and its policy recommendations at the United Nations Conference Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Dec. 9-10.
The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa also commissioned the writing of the 132 page report.
