Save the date for the K-State Leadership Seminar
Mark your calendars for the 19th annual K-State Leadership Seminar. The seminar, which focuses on courageous leadership, will be from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at the K-State Student Union.
This year’s keynote speaker is Orlando Taylor, vice president for strategic initiatives and research and director of the Institute for Social Innovation at Fielding Graduate University.
Registration will open the week of Jan. 12, 2015. Seminar costs are $95 per individual or $85 per individual for teams of three or more registering from the same department.
The mission of the K-State Leadership Seminar is to enhance the leadership skills and capacities of the K-State community and communities throughout Kansas.
The objectives of the seminar are:
1. Provide an annual leadership development experience that delivers practical, hands-on information, tools, best practices and "next practices" for effective leadership.
2. Cultivate a learning community of persons interested in leadership development.
3. Facilitate opportunities for continued learning beyond the seminar.
