Kat Chats with Counseling Services offers the Making Lasting Changes series: Starting the Year off Right
Join us for the first of a three-part series examining the change process. We will discuss stages of change, setting effective goals, forces that help or prevent you from making change, and ways to create lasting results by strengthening inner motivation.
Making Lasting Changes series, part 1: Starting the Year off Right will be from 4-5:30 p.m. Feb. 3 in 13 Leasure Hall.
A 2014 Marist Poll indicated that roughly 60 percent of Americans made New Year’s resolutions for 2014, but more than 40 percent of those making such resolutions reported not being able to keep them after the first month. Change is a process, not an event. It typically involves more than simply making a resolution and hoping for the best.
As this is an interactive three-part workshop, we are looking for students who are seriously interested in making positive changes in their lives.
Can't attend in person, join us through Zoom.
