K-State Assessment Showcase and Awards today
The Assessment Showcase and Awards will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23, in Hale Library's Hemisphere Room.
The showcase began as part of K-State's annual assessment conference in 2008. In 2013, the Assessment Showcase and Awards became a separate event to recognize K-State programs with exemplary assessment processes and provide an opportunity for programs to share assessment best-practices.
It is free and open to all K-State faculty and staff. No registration required. A brief reception will follow.
2015 Assessment Award recipients:
- College of Human Ecology dietetics, didactic program — Recognized for program improvement.
- College of Technology and Aviation applied business — Recognized for assessment process improvement.
- College of Business Administration marketing department — Recognized for leadership as an exemplar in their college.
- Student Affairs Counseling Services — Recognized for assessment excellence in student affairs.
- College of Agriculture food science and industry; College of Human Ecology interior design; College of Arts & Science social work; and the College of Technology and Aviation mechanical engineering technology — Recognized for Adapting the Association of American Colleges and Universities VALUE Rubrics into course and program assessment.
