HealthQuest is a program provided to help you reduce your premium and obtain a healthier lifestyle. Several free biometric screenings are available on the Manhattan campus. Sign up for a free biometric screening appointment on the days listed below at Peters Recreation Center's Room 138:
- 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 19.
- 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 20.
- 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 21.
A biometric screening is necessary to complete the online health assessment questionnaire, which is required to be eligible for discounted premiums on health insurance. These free screenings are one of three ways to get your biometric information, with the other two choices: a well check up done by your physician, or an at home test.
The biometric screening results and completion of the online Health Assessment Questionnaire are required and are worth 10 of the total 30 credits needed by Nov. 15 to receive the discounted premium for plan year or calendar 2016. Biometric screening results, the online Health Assessment Questionnaire, and any additional credits you earn throughout this period must be manually entered into the portal at www.KansasHealthQuest.com.
Employees will sign into the HealthQuest portal with the login ID and password that has been previously created. If you have not registered for the HealthQuest portal, you will need to register on the website providing your employee ID. The employee ID can be found by logging into the HRIS website and navigating to Employee Self Service> View Work Information.
In addition to the free biometric screenings, employees have the opportunity to receive assistance to stop tobacco use, obtain lifestyle coaching and participate in wellness challenges that are fun and interactive relating to specific health behaviors.
