Faculty from the Kansas State University industrial and manufacturing systems engineering department co-hosted the 2015 NSF CAREER Proposal Writing Workshop April 27-28 in Boston, Massachusetts.
The workshop was co-founded by Zhijian Pei, professor of industrial and manufacturing systems engineering, and co-organized by Brad Kramer, department head and professor of industrial and manufacturing systems engineering.
This was the 12th time the workshop has been offered. Two hundred early career engineering faculty from 36 different states across the nation were selected to participate. Gurpreet Singh, K-State assistant professor of mechanical and nuclear engineering and a recent NSF CAREER Award winner, was one of the workshop's featured speakers.
