International Incentive Grant proposal deadline extended to March 1
Submitted by Office of International Programs
Associate Provost Marcelo Sabatés has announced that the International Incentive Grant proposal deadline has been extended to March 1. Additionally, the total award amount for this round of International Incentive Grant proposals is being increased from $15,000 to $25,000.
The primary purpose of the International Incentive Grant program is to promote the internationalization of Kansas State University. It is anticipated that the majority of proposals will fall into the following general categories:
- Incorporation of global perspectives/components into curriculum or campus program(s), including bringing international visitors/lectures to K-State;
- Development of global learning opportunities, including study abroad courses and/or internship programs with companies or partner universities overseas;
- International research/teaching, including organizing international workshops and conferences, and planning visits to initiate collaborative research/teaching.
The majority of individual grants will fall into the range of $1,000 to $3,000. These grants are supported jointly by the office of the provost and the office of international programs.
Due to the breadth of programming that this International Incentive Grant program encompasses, we encourage all Kansas State University faculty to consider submitting a proposal. Individual and joint grant proposals will be considered.
