Student chapter of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing to meet Sept. 2
The Kansas State University student chapter of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, or ASPRS, will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, in 164H Seaton Hall.
Following a general membership meeting, Jida Wang, assistant professor of geography in the College of Arts & Sciences will present "Progress in Understanding Terrestrial Water Stocks in the Anthropocene."
The society was founded in 1934 and is a scientific association serving thousands of professional members around the world. Its mission is to advance knowledge and improve understanding of mapping sciences to promote the responsible application of photogrammetry, remote sensing, GIS, and supporting technologies.
