Taking the plunge into conducting a scholarship of teaching and learning project in your classroom
If you've been thinking about dipping your big toe into Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, join Kim Williams, university distinguished teaching scholar, and Heath Ritter, program director of the University Research Compliance Office, at a workshop to help you take the plunge.
This hour-and-a-half workshop will be interactive, so bring your ideas and questions from 1-2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, in the Hemisphere Room of Hale Library.
Williams and Ritter will lay out a step-by-step process to help you dive into designing and implementing your own Scholarship of Teaching and Learning project with students in your classroom, focusing on how to navigate common pitfalls along the way.
This fall teaching and learning event is sponsored by the Faculty Exchange for Teaching Excellence and the Teaching and Learning Center.
