Math Circle Seminar program resumes its educational workshops

Math Circle Seminar, a STEM program hosted by the mathematics department, starts the fifth year of educational workshops for school-age students with strong interest in mathematics. Instructions are given by department faculty and by math graduate students.
A regular weekly workshop of Math Circle Seminar lasts for an hour, where students solve challenging problems, discuss various math topics and master solving techniques. Among the special events of this semester are Art and Math Day at the Beach Museum, Games and Puzzles day, Year-long Math Marathon problem solving contest and preparation for American Math Competition.
