Purple Is Progress Movement Challenge: Week one results
Submitted by Human Capital Services - Benefits
Wow! The results from week one of the movement challenge are in. K-Staters are moving and shaking things up all over Kansas.
The K-State community has traveled approximately 19,400 miles in just seven days. K-State has walked, ran, biked and exercised all the way to Australia and back.
The average daily activity per person was 9,495 steps. That's very close to our 10,000 steps per day goal. Remember, we are practicing progress not perfection. A little increase in the daily average will be progress toward our ultimate goal.
And now for the results…
*Leader board includes departments with at least three participants.
Kansas Forest Service is right on top with 13,775 average steps per day. Keep up the good work and let's see who is on top next week.
It's not too late to join; help your department rise to the top of the leader board by participating next week.
