College of Engineering faculty earn National Science Foundation awards
Shuting Lei, professor of industrial and manufacturing systems engineering, has received a three-year, $299,159 National Science Foundation award for his research on "High-Performance Machining of Brittle Materials by Controlled Crack Propagation."
Steve Warren, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering, has received a $399,962 National Science Foundation award for his research project "GARDE: Research to Quantify the Health and Development of Children with Disabilities Around the Clock."
