Industrial and manufacturing systems engineering faculty present at FORMS conference
Only one team of academic researchers was invited to present at the FedEx Operations Research Management Science, or FORMS, Conference Sept. 30-Oct. 1 in Memphis, Tennessee, and that team was from the Kansas State University's industrial and manufacturing systems engineering department.
Bradley Kramer, professor and department head, coordinated the keynote presentation by highlighting operations research capabilities of the department, along with faculty members David Ben-Arieh, Deandra Cassone, Todd Easton, Jessica Heier Stamm and John Wu who each offered details of their respective projects.
In addition, Easton led a conference session on advances in integer programming methods, and Wu and Ben-Arieh led a session on pattern recognition and dynamic systems modeling.
