Mathematics department to host national competition for students in grades 1-12

The mathematics department has opened a center for the 2016 Math Kangaroo in USA national math competition March 17, 2016. The popularity of the test constantly grows with the number of participants exceeding 21,000 last year.
The competition is open to all students in grades 1 through 12. The test consists of multiple choice challenging questions appropriate for the students' age and selected by the International Math Kangaroo Committee.
Students in USD 383 district are cordially invited to participate in USA Kangaroo-2016 competition by completing the registration by Dec. 15. National and state winners will be announced in May 2016.
