Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education seminar Wednesday
North Central Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education representatives will present a funding opportunities seminar from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, in 137 Waters Hall.
Beth Nelson, associate director, and Rob Myers, regional coordinator of the professional development program, will discuss grant opportunities offered through North Central Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education, including sources of technical information available through the program.
This presentation should be of interest to a wide range of faculty and graduate students working on agriculture, food and rural issues at K-State. Following the presentation there will be time for questions and discussion of Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education programming and funding opportunities. In addition to Myers and Nelson, other Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education representatives will be present to help answer questions, including Linda Kleinschmit, associate regional program coordinator; Joan Benjamin, associate regional coordinator for Farmer/Rancher and Youth/Youth Educator Grants; and Kerri Ebert, Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education state coordinator for Kansas.
