Agronomy faculty, students win Gamma Sigma Delta awards
Several faculty members and students in the agronomy department received 2016 awards from Gamma Sigma Delta, the honor society of agriculture.
Faculty award winners include Gary Pierzynski, department head and university distinguished professor, Distinguished Faculty Award; Kevin Donnelly, professor, Outstanding Teaching Award; Peter Tomlinson, assistant professor, Early Career Award; and DeAnn Presley, associate professor, Excellence in Extension Award.
Sridevi Nakka received the Graduate Research Award and Jessica Bramhall received the undergraduate Research Award. In addition, Fernando Garcia received the Distinguished Alumnus Award.
The Gamma Sigma Delta awards ceremony will be at 3:30 p.m. April 15 in the Leadership Studies Building. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
