Learn about our progess: Open meetings with campus planners March 28-29
Dear K-State Community,
The Kansas State University Campus Master Plan Update process is going strong.
Our campus planners from Ayers Saint Gross (planning), Martin/Alexiou/Bryson (transportation), and Vireo (landscape architecture), will be on the Manhattan campus reporting about what they have heard and learned about K-State during previous open campus meetings and listening sessions.
Four open campus meetings are scheduled:
- Wednesday March 28, 12:30-1:30 p.m., Forum Hall, K-State Student Union
- Wednesday March 28, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Flinthills Room, K-State Student Union
- Thursday March 29, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Big 12 Room, K-State Student Union
- Thursday March 29, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Big 12 Room, K-State Student Union
The format and focus of all four meetings will be a presentation of the existing campus conditions analysis. The same content will be presented at all four meetings to provide multiple opportunities for campus participation in the planning process. For those who cannot attend in person, one of the meetings – the 12:30-1:30 p.m. session Wednesday, March 28 – will be video streamed and available to view on K-State HD.
Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited and encouraged to attend one of the open campus meetings.
Input from campus and community members continues to be collected via a Web-based survey. Access to the survey is available from the Campus Master Plan Update website, http://www.k-state.edu/masterplan/. Click on the "Submit your Feedback" tab on the left-hand side of the page or go to http://www.k-state-masterplan2012.com/ to access the survey directly.
Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts about the future of Kansas State University. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
Sincerely,
Ruth A. Dyer, Ph.D.
