Natural Resources and Environmental Science Seminar Series speakers announced for fall 2016 semester
The natural resources and environmental science secondary major announces the schedule for the fall 2016 Natural Resources and Environmental Science Seminar Series. K-State faculty researchers from five different departments will discuss diverse topics including nature in urban areas, water resources, and environmental art and technology. All presentations will start at 11:30 a.m. in 231 Ackert Hall unless otherwise noted.
Sept. 13: Jim Sherow, history department
Sept. 20: Laszlo Kulcsar, sociology, anthropology, and social work department
Sept. 29: Carlos Castellanos, art department
Oct. 6: Francesco Orsi, geography department
Oct. 13: Vahid Rahmani, biological and agricultural engineering department

Undergraduate students interested in natural resources, environmental science, and sustainability issues are especially encouraged to attend. The natural resources and environmental science secondary major and its seminar series is generously supported by the provost's office, College of Agriculture, College of Arts & Sciences, and biological and agricultural engineering department.
