Fenton Sands to present Agricultural Economics Seminar
Fenton Sands, international consultant at Sands International in Washington, D.C., will give a Department of Agricultural Economics Seminar at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, in 342 Waters Hall.
Sands has been an international development expert for more than 35 years, with expertise in policy, economic development, technical assistance, strategic thinking and program and project implementation. He has held senior-level positions, managed teams, wrote major strategic plans and conducted specific economic analyses.
Over his long professional career, Sands has lived and worked in West, East and North Africa, as well as in Washington, D.C., and South America. He is eager to share his vast experience and continue fighting the battle to eradicate poverty all over the world.
