Submitted by Stephanie Jacques
Join the Communicators' Brown Bag group from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at the UMB Theater in the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum, to explore visual thinking strategies with museum Director Linda Duke. Brown bag lunches are welcome and encouraged. Discussion will start at noon.
Visual thinking strategies is an educational methodology based on viewing works of art, that helps develop cognitive, observation and communication skills. Through these strategies and its dynamic group problem-solving process, participants will explore strategies to present their own ideas, while respecting and learning from the perspectives of their peers.
