University Advising Committee announces grant recipients
The University Advising Committee has selected five recipients for its spring semester professional development grants.
Congratulations are due to Leena Chakrabarti, English Language Program; Christy Craft, special education, counseling and student affairs; Aida Farough, geology; Jodi Kaus, Powercat Financial; and Yang Yang, special education, counseling and student affairs.
Each will receive $750 to support participation in an off-campus professional development experience. The committee also thanks Stephanie Bannister, co-chair; Brad Cunningham and Tanya Gonzalez for serving as the award committee, and the Office of the Provost and the Office of the Vice President for Student Life for supporting the committee from its inception only four short years ago.
