'Interview Designer: Utilizing Competency-Based Interview Questions' session offered Feb. 28

"Interview Designer: Utilizing Competency-Based Interview Questions," WTD196, will be offered from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in 209 K-State Student Union.
This session focuses on building an aptitude among interviewers at the university and equipping leaders on best practices during the interview process. Participants will learn how to select relevant competency-based interview questions and how to drill down on an experience in order to consistently assess an applicant.
As a result of this session, participants will:
- Identify and apply the best practices associated with preparing for, conducting and evaluating structured interviews.
- Define the right competencies for screening, selection, and development according to position level.
- Practice structured interview question guides.
