Design Expo at Hilton Garden Inn March 10
The 2017 Design Expo will host 75 professional firms to discuss full-time and internship opportunities with students from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 10, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan.
Firms attending the expo seek students who are currently studying various design fields. Disciplines include architecture, interior architecture and product design, interior design, graphic design, landscape architecture and regional and community planning.
Firms attending include Corgan, Perkins Eastman, BNIM Architects, Cannon Design, GLMV Architecture Inc., PGAV Destinations, Civic Plus, Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc., and Perkins + Will.

Students also can download the K-State mobile app, and select the Career Fairs icon to see a full list of Design Expo employers, access an interactive career fair map and create a list of employers to visit.
Free shuttles will run from the K-State Student Union courtyard to the Hilton Garden Inn every 20 minutes starting at 9 a.m. Students who wish to drive on their own are instructed to only park in the parking garage at the corner of Fourth Street and Fort Riley Boulevard.
To make a favorable impression, it is important that Design Expo attendees dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resume, portfolio materials, or work samples. Students also must bring their K-State student ID.
