K-State makes room for inauguration visitors

Submitted by Communications and Marketing

Many off-campus friends and family will join the university community as Kansas State University celebrates the inauguration of the 14th president, Richard B. Myers, at 10 a.m. Friday, April 28, in McCain Auditorium.

To welcome those who want to attend the Presidential Inauguration but don't have a regular parking permit, the university will reserve the A2 parking lot for off-campus inauguration attendees only.

The A2 parking lot is the first parking lot on the left if entering campus from the east side on Vattier Street. There will be attendants at all entrances to help assist with traffic flow.

Thank you in advance to K-State faculty, staff and students for making slight parking adjustments for the day to accommodate and welcome K-State visitors to the K-State family.
