ADVANCE Distinguished Lecture Series presents Carol Krugman

The ADVANCE Distinguished Lecture Series and Kristin Malek, assistant professor of hospitality management, will host Carol Krugman, associate professor and chair of the hospitality, tourism and events department at Metropolitan State University of Denver at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 6, in 163 Justin Hall.

Krugman will present "Leaving the Nest: Survival Strategies for Global Meeting Operations."

As chair of the department, Krugman directs more than 550 students and 20 full- and part-time faculty. Prior to transitioning into academia, she held a variety of positions in the global meetings industry for more than 30 years, including positions as a corporate public relations and marketing manager, association executive, senior manager for two global communications agencies and president of her own international meeting management company.
