Faculty and staff invited to attend 2017 K-State Research Showcase
More than 80 exhibitors have registered for the 2017 K-State Research Showcase at K-State Olathe on May 17. The event will be open to guests from 3:30-6:30 p.m., and appetizers and drinks will be available. Faculty and staff who are not exhibiting at the showcase are also invited to attend. Please register by May 12. (Exhibitors should not register again.)
The event will serve as a large-scale networking session and showcase for the wide breadth of K-State research expertise and resources that are available for public and private corporate partners. The university's numerous capabilities in five major areas will be highlighted:
- Global food systems, including agriculture and food science
- Animal and human health and nutrition
- Engineering and technology, including construction, architecture and software
- Workforce development and diversity
- Life sciences and analytics, including sensory analysis and consumer preferences and behavior
