K-State Marching Band hosts seventh annual scholarship golf tournament
The K-State Pride of Wildcat Land Marching Band's seventh annual Marching Pride Scholars Golf Tournament will be Saturday, May 20, at Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan.
The tournament is a fundraiser to help the Marching Pride Scholars program. Financial support of this program will help keep the Sudler Trophy-winning K-State Marching Band cheering for Wildcat victories and Wabashing as one of the biggest and best university marching bands in the land. The band is looking for corporations to advertise and sponsor holes, carts and food for the event.
The event is for anyone who is interested in playing golf at the Colbert Hills' course while helping K-State students succeed. You can sign up a four-person team, pairs or as an individual. Find player registration or hole sponsorship registration online.
For more information, please contact Frank Tracz, director of bands, at 785-532-3816. Paper registration and sponsorship forms also are available at 226 McCain Auditorium and all proceeds go toward the Marching Pride Scholarship fund.
