Huynh named '40 Under 40' by alma mater
Long Huynh, Kansas State University Global Campus associate dean for enrollment management and marketing, was named to the inaugural group of distinguished alumni by his alma mater, California State University East Bay, in an April ceremony in Oakland, California.
Huynh, who joined K-State Global Campus in fall 2016, was named to the school's inaugural "40 Under 40" list and received the award at a ceremony hosted by the university and the alumni association. Huynh received both his bachelor's in business administration, '03, and a Master of Business Administration, '04, from Cal State East Bay — then known as Cal State Hayward.
"I am greatly honored to receive this award," Huynh said. "Especially considering this is the first time these awards have been given, it's a privilege for me to be listed among such a talented and successful group of people."
The "40 Under 40" awards recognize alumni ages 40 or younger who have demonstrated dedication, excellence and development in their professional, philanthropic or personal endeavors. Honorees encompass the school's alumni from all colleges and career paths, including educational leaders, entrepreneurs, social justice advocates, tech and marketing gurus, health care professionals and civil servants.
