Update from the Multicultural Center planning group
Submitted by Multicultural Student Center planning group
The Multicultural Center planning group thanks all who participated in both the group and individual surveys that were administered to campus in April and May. The planning group is pleased with the participation across campus and is currently reviewing the data collected.
The focus of the planning group for the next few weeks is to compile the data found from campus surveys and use it to assist with drafting recommendations for the report to senior leadership. The planning group looks forward to completing its charge by the end of the month by submitting a report of recommendations to the senior leadership team, including Provost and Senior Vice President April Mason, Vice President Pat Bosco, interim Associate Provost Zelia Wiley and KSU Foundation President Greg Willems, by the end of May.
The group continues to focus their work on developing a compelling vision, purpose statement, and plan for a privately funded center that advances student success, diversity, inclusion and social justice.
