Interfaith Leadership Webinar with Eboo Patel
The President's Committee on Religion invites all campus members to a free webinar, "Interfaith Leadership in 2018: A Conversation with Eboo Patel," from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, in 339 Bluemont Hall.
Patel is the founder and president of the Interfaith Youth Core. During the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to discuss concepts that are core to interfaith leadership and to look ahead to what may be possible on our own campus with regard to interfaith initiatives.
If interested in attending the webinar, please RSVP via email no later than Tuesday, Jan. 17, to Christy Craft, chair of the President's Committee on Religion and associate professor in the College of Education, at ccraft@k-state.edu.
The President's Committee on Religion exists to help support religious, nonreligious and spiritual diversity on campus. With that goal in mind, the committee strives to provide resources to the campus community about religious, nonreligious, and spiritual beliefs and practices, to encourage appropriate religious accommodations, to help formulate university religious guidelines, and to coordinate religious activities and dialogue in a pluralistic community.
