Have an advising role at K-State? Join ADV 101 today
Do you have advising responsibilities? If so, ADV 101 is for you!
Advisor Forum announces the implementation of the Advisor Onboarding and Professional Development course.
Research suggests that advising plays a key role in student retention throughout college. Due to the high importance of retention at K-State, Advisor Forum created the ADV 101 Canvas course to introduce all faculty and primary role advisors to K-State culture, expectations and resources. All faculty, primary role advisors and anyone with student advising duties are encouraged to complete the first five modules of the course. Additional modules are available for both new and seasoned advisors to complete and refer back to at any time. Whether you have been advising for two weeks or for 10 years, you will learn something new in this course, which is why all those with an advising role are encouraged to complete this course.
To request access to the ADV 101 course, fill out the Qualtrics form.
Advisor Forum also welcomes any faculty and primary role advisors to join the forum. Read more about the forum.
