K-State irrigation research featured in latest issue of Colorado Water
K-State research on irrigation technologies is featured prominently in the latest edition of Colorado Water, available now.
The issue focuses on irrigation technology research and the Irrigation Innovation Consortium, a joint initiative between the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research, K-State and other private, public and university organizations to address growing water scarcity in the western U.S. and the world.
Research by K-State faculty about mobile drip irrigation, intensification of corn production using subsurface drip irrigation, irrigation scheduling techniques for turfgrass and an overview of the Water Technology Farm program in Kansas are included in this issue, along with other articles by Irrigation Innovation Consortium partners.
