K-State McNair Scholars Program awarded five more years of funding
The K-State McNair Scholars Program recently received good news: The program will continue to receive funding through the U.S. Department of Education for another five years.
The overall objective of the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program is to guide eligible students through the process of applying to graduate school while preparing them to succeed at attaining doctoral degrees. To be eligible, students must be U.S. citizens or legal residents. They must also be first-generation and low-income, or from an ethnic group that is considered underrepresented in graduate study.
