Call for nominations for International Educator of the Year
The office of international programs announces the call for nominations for the International Educator of the Year Award. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31.
The International Educator of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to advancing international education on our campus. Facaulty, staff, administrators or other members of the K-State community may be honored for major contributions and sustained commitment to internationalize our campus. The International Educator of the Year is recognized annually during International Education Week and is awarded a $1,000 honorarium.
International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of Education and State. First established in November 2000, International Education Week was created to celebrate the benefits of global education and exchange: Citizens become better collaborators, competitors and compassionate neighbors in this global siociety.

On Friday, Nov. 16, the 2012 International Educator of the Year awardee will be recognized and honored by the Office of International Programs at a reception from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Hemisphere Room of Hale Library.
