International Block Party celebrates its third year on campus
Join Wildcats from around the world for the third annual International Block Party, a fun-filled evening from 7-11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, on Bosco Student Plaza. The location changed from Memorial Stadium.
This free event will feature DJ-spun international music, dancing, cultural booths, cultural snacks while supplies last, bouncy house, mini-golf, Cash Cube, henna tattoos provided by the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth, or SPICMACAY, and lawn games. Meet your Student Governing Association representatives when you arrive, plus take photos with flags from around the world. A big travel prize will be given away to a lucky K-State student.
This is the third year for the International Block Party, which traditionally brings together more than 1,000 people. It is sponsored by Union Program Council, the K-State Alumni Association, International Coordinating Council, International Buddies and the personal financial planning program.
