Volunteers needed for mobile food distribution
HandsOn Kansas State will host its first mobile food distribution of the semester in conjunction with Harvesters Community Food Network of Topeka from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, in parking lot C-1 of the Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex.
The mobile food distribution is open to anyone in the Manhattan community with fresh produce offered at no cost.
HandsOn is currently in need of more volunteers to make this event happen. This event is great for groups and individuals alike. Get outside and help us work toward a more food secure community. Sign up online if you are able to lend a hand this Friday.
For more information or questions about the mobile food distribution contact HandsOn Kansas State at handson@k-state.edu.
