Theatre professor Cranford performing with three K-State alumni

Submitted by Jerry Jay Cranford

Since mid-June, Professor Jerry Jay Cranford has been serving as the co-director and choreographer for the New Theatre of Kansas City's production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."

As an Actors' Equity Association union performer, Cranford is also onstage as Jacob and Potiphar alongside three talented K-State alumni: Amy Hurrelbrink, Joey Boos and Noah Lindquist. Lindquist was the star of K-State's "Oklahoma!" last fall and was Jack in Kansas City's sold-out hit, "Newsies" in summer 2018.

The production opened in early July running eight performance per week to sold-out crowds at the 700-seat theatre. The show will be closing this week on Sept. 15 so you've got eight chances to see it.
