SafeRide: A survey for student feedback
Submitted by Center for Student Involvement
SafeRide provides a free, safe ride home to K-State students and guests.
The program's mission is to save lives and prevent injuries and damage to property by offering students and their guests a safe alternative to drunken driving and other threatening situations. The service currently runs from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
The program is managed through the Center for Student Involvement and is funded by the Student Governing Association. Together, the center and SGA are exploring changes to the program and are seeking feedback from students. Students are encouraged to complete a short online survey.
Links for participation will be sent to students via email beginning Monday, Sept. 16, and will remain open for two weeks. Students who complete the survey will be entered to win a K-State tumbler.
Questions related to SafeRide can be directed to Kelli Farris, executive director for the Center for Student Involvement, at kellifarris@k-state.edu.
