Join Wildcats Vote in its 'Why I Vote' campaign today
Wildcats Vote, a registered independent student organization, will host its "Why I Vote" campaign today to spread awareness about the election, promote voter turnout, and provide students with election information. Catch volunteers in the K-State Student Union from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and share why you believe voting and civic engagement are important.
On the ballot today will be elections for city commission, school board, a question regarding a Kansas constitutional amendment and — specific to the city of Manhattan — a question regarding a proposed sales tax increase.
To find out where your voting precinct is, go to ksvotes.org. To find out more information regarding the candidates and questions on the ballot, go to vote411.org.
