Survive finals week with K-State Libraries
K-State Libraries have got you covered during finals week! We've got study locations in addition to free snacks, caffeine and de-stress activities to keep you going.
Hale Library will be open 24/5 with extended weekend hours. Room 181 will be designated for quiet study. We've also compiled a list of other study locations across campus including our branch libraries.
Now that Hale Library is open, Caffeine Fix is back and better than ever. Thanks to our lead sponsor, Joyce and Joe's Cornerstone Café, and several other local supporters, we will provide coffee, tea, hot cocoa and snacks while supplies last at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, and at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16
Random Acts of Snacks will continue this year. Library staff will work their way through Hale Library to distribute snacks and encouragement at various times on Monday, Dec. 16, and Tuesday, Dec. 17.
At any point, if you find that you need to take a quick break to unclench the ol' brain muscle, visit our De-Stress station near the entrance of Hale Library. You'll find coloring pages and pencils, Sudoku, word searches and more.
Snacks throughout the week include pizza, fruit, fresh cookies, sandwiches, donuts and many other goodies. Make sure to thank our sponsors who make these events possible: Housing and Dining Services, Bakery Science Club, Cats for Clean Air, Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs, Lafene Health Center, Jimmy John's, McAlister's Deli, Personal Financial Planning Program and Varsity Donuts.
