Profs n' Pints at the Flint Hills Discovery Center
Enjoy a tasty pint of beer while listening to some of the best and brightest from K-State at Profs n' Pints. This new monthly gathering pairs up innovative research with some amazing microbrews. Every month features a K-State faculty member sharing what they love in a fun and lively presentation, along with a featured microbrew from Arrow Catering.
The inaugural event will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Flint Hills Discovery Center. The first presentation will be "'I Wanna See a Polar Bear Before They're Gone!': 'Last Chance' Tourism and Sustainability in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge" with Jessica Fefer, assistant professor of park management and conservation at Kansas State University.
The free event will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month, January through April, at the Flint Hills Discovery Center. All ages welcome. Cash bar available for ages 21 and over.
