Faculty training events for remote teaching begin today
In response to the March 12 announcement from President Myers, the university has scheduled a variety of helpful presentations via Zoom beginning today and continuing throughout the week to aid K-State faculty members and graduate teaching assistants in the transition from face-to-face teaching to classes taught remotely.
The presentations cover a variety of topics, including introductions to Canvas, Mediasite and Zoom, as well as specific sessions on Canvas quizzes and exams, discussion boards and gradebook functions. Additional presentations and topics are still being considered and added to the schedule.
All sessions will be recorded for any participants who cannot attend the live events or who wish to review the recordings at a later time.
