First-ever K-State home hockey games
The K-State Inline Hockey Club will host its first ever home games starting at 10 a.m. Feb. 9 and 10 in the Rec Center's new MAC gym. Teams from K-State, Maryville University, Texas State University, Washington University, Missouri University of Science and Technology and University of Colorado, Colorado Springs will play.
The 10 a.m. Saturday game will feature the ROTC Color Guard and Willie the Wildcat before we take on Maryville University for the first home game. This is a matchup of the two teams from the Great Plains Region that qualified for nationals last year. At this tournament, which featured the top 16 colleges in the nation, K-State made it to the Final Four before being eliminated.
Here is the game schedule for this weekend:
Saturday, Feb. 9
- 10 a.m. — K-State vs. Maryville University
- Noon — University of Colorado, Colorado Springs vs. Texas State University
- 1 p.m. — K-State vs. Missouri University of Science and Technology
- 2 p.m. — Texas State University vs. Washington University
- 3 p.m. — University of Colorado, Colorado Springs vs. K-State
- 4 p.m. — Maryville University vs. Texas State University
- 5 p.m. — University of Colorado, Colorado Springs vs. Washington University
Sunday, Feb. 10
- 10 a.m. — University of Colorado, Colorado Springs vs. Maryville University
- 11 a.m. — Missouri University of Science and Technology vs. Texas State University
- Noon — Washington University vs. K-State
- 1 p.m. — Missouri University of Science and Technology vs. University of Colorado, Colorado Springs
- 2 p.m. — K-State vs. Texas State University
