Law school application workshop
Submitted by Cadence Bailee Ciesielski
The Office of Pre-Law Advising will host a law school application workshop from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, via Zoom.
Join us for two sessions to help you prepare for law school applications — whether this application cycle or in the future.
Session 1: Law School Application Deep Dive at 3 p.m.
Admissions deans from the University of Iowa, Boston College, Fordham and University of California, Irvine law schools will present an informative panel detailing what you need to know to apply for law school. Plenty of time will be available for questions and answers. This is helpful if you have specific questions as you navigate this application cycle, or are wondering what’s ahead as you start to think about applications for next year or beyond.
Session 2: Personal Statement Workshop at 4:10 p.m.
Jim Hohenbary, director of nationally competitive scholarships at K-State, will lead a workshop to help you develop a compelling personal statement for your law school application. Feel free to join whether you are writing a statement for applications this fall, or want to learn how to start crafting your story for a future application cycle. No preparation is required.
