Adventure OUT online artist spotlight Saturday, Oct. 17
The LGBT Resource Center AdventureOUT program will host the first Artist Highlight with Bryant Mehay, drama therapy master's student and certified therapeutic recreation specialist.
Mehay welcomes Tyler Woods "TyWoo," local drag queen and director of the Columbiana Theater, for a discussion on theater in the age of a pandemic at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, via Zoom: 707 394 6062.
Artist Highlight is an opportunity to learn from LGBTQ+ Artists from Kansas State University and the Manhattan community. These Artist Highlight sessions of AdventureOUT are hosted by Mehay.
Artist Highlight is an opportunity for you to be a part of important conversations around race, sexual/gender orientation and art. Tune in to learn about different forms of art, how our spotlight artist may practice their art in a post-COVID world, and the role of artists during times of social unrest.
By submitting a question to the LGBT Resource Center at lgbt@k-state.edu you have the chance to be selected to ask your question live to our artist.
