Comparative Medicine Group director named to governor's advisory board

Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback has appointed Denver Marlow, director for the Comparative Medicine Group at the College of Veterinary Medicine, to the Kansas Pet Animal Advisory Board.
The board has 10 members appointed by the governor. The board advises the Kansas livestock commissioner on hiring a director to implement the Kansas pet animal act, reviews the status of the Kansas pet animal act and makes recommendations on changes to the act.
