Continuing education staff present at regional, national conferences
A. David Stewart, associate dean of continuing education, and Bettie Minshall, program coordinator in the Division of Continuing Education, presented “Bad Times Never Been So Good” at continuing education conferences.
Minshall, who also serves as co-chair of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association central region, presented at the association’s regional conference, Oct. 12-14, in Clayton, Mo.
Stewart presented at the Association for Continuing Higher Education’s national conference, Oct. 13-15 in Orlando, Fla., where he also received the association’s 2011 Outstanding Leadership Award.
Presenters featured the Division of Continuing Education’s grant funding model for online program development, implemented during a time of administrative and financial management transitions. The model included cost, production and revenue generation results from three full cycles.
