World-renowned nature photographer Michael Forsberg will give a presentation on his photography that showcases the beauty of the Great Plains at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at Kansas State University’s Alumni Center.
Forsberg is a Nebraska native an his goal has been to try to capture the wild spirit that still survives in these wide-open spaces and put a face to the often overlooked native creatures and landscapes found there. He will be sharing his experiences and knowledge during an exclusive screening of hundreds of his photos, many which capture the beauty of the Flint Hills.
Forsberg provided the iconic photos for the book "Great Plains – America’s Lingering Wild."
