Collaborative Communication for Supervisors will be offered from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, via Zoom.
This session focuses on communication and decision-making, highlighting ways that communication can facilitate or hinder collaborative decision-making practices in the workplace.
The session will help participants:
- Identify and practice effective listening, dialogue, and decision-making techniques.
- Identify and analyze common communication barriers in order to navigate conflicts in the workplace.
- Apply techniques and strategies to become more skilled in interpersonal communication.
You must be a current supervisor of university support staff or unclassified professionals to attend this session. This session is offered in conjunction with the K-State Supervisory Foundations Pillar I: Establishing Your Supervisory Foundation certificate program, so seating is limited.
